‘Stupid me said ok’: Neighbor expects man to do her laundry every week after her washing machine breaks, he considers buying her a new washing machine to make it stop

We all know the deal. Living in close quarters with others is a recipe for trouble.

On the one hand, you might be exposed to great people who want to do right by you as your neighbor. The other side of the coin is falling victim to entitlement from people you hoped you could trust. In reality, great neighbors are few and far between. There'll be something that sets another person off that you can't quite put your finger on, and then you're in the residential doghouse indefinitely dealing with the collateral.

The original poster (OP) of this story was approached by their neighbor, who claims her washing machine broke and asked if she could borrow his machine. OP says yes, but instead of the neighbor walking in and doing her own laundry, hands him the basket and basically, says "Thanks, bye!" According to OP, this has been going on every three days for months, with claims that her machine is still broken. The kicker here is that OP is now doing her laundry in his sink with natural soap because she claims she is allergic to something in his machine.
